Blood Platelets

Blood Clotting by Platelets:

Platelet cells are present in our blood and they circulate all around the body through it. Whenever there is bleeding these platelets act as a plug to stop it. The clot, which forms at the point of wound, is a microscopic network of insoluble fibrous protein. The cells have granules but no nucleus.
